Tinubu suspends EFCC Chairman, AbdulRasheed Bawa President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the indefinite suspension of EFCC Chairman, AbdulRasheed Bawa, as the Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to allow for proper investigation into his conduct while in office. The Head of Operations of the EFCC is to take charge pending conclusion of investigation into Bawa’s leadership. In a statement, "Mr Bawa has been directed to immediately handover the affairs of his office to the Director, Operations in the Commission, who will oversee the affairs of the Office of the Chairman of the Commission pending the conclusion of the investigation" All reaction It was also reported that the EFCC Boss had a meeting with the President today at the state house Abuja.

Pa Akintola Williams is dead. The doyen of Accounting and the first chattered accountant in Nigeria is dead. He was reportedly 104 years old upon his demise. He died on the 11th of september 2023. The cause of his death has been unknown as he has been severely sick and weary of old age issues.
